马特洪峰冰川天堂（观景台）的点评
点评：This is one of those visits which you have to decide if you are ever coming back again and if not do this trip.
It’s v expensive but if you have SBB tickets you might get a discount. Otherwise it’s about £100.
The gondolas are efficient and spacious.
At the top there is an ice palace with sculptures carved into the glacier, a short film showing clips from the place. A shop and cafe and the highlight the viewpoint to the Matterhorn.
Short of climbing it yourself this is as close as you will ever get to this iconic mountain. It’s amazing and the glaciers at the top are stunning too.
You could spend 2-4 hours here easily. Enjoy but try not to think about how much it cost you on the way down.

Check the weather before you leave. It can be very cold at the top or cloud covering the Matterhorn and you would waste your money if it was like that. We were lucky on the day we visited. See photos
