Roskilly's Farm的点评
点评：We visited on Tuesday 14th July for lunch; we hadn't booked and although it seemed quite busy, we were able to find an empty table in the beautiful wisteria-festooned courtyard. We ordered a pot of tea for two and two pizzas. The tea arrived promptly and with the addition of a small pot of hot water so we could top up the tea pot, and with pretty but large earthenware teacups and saucers.
Our pizzas arrived about 20 minutes later and looked gorgeous - freshly made sourdough pizzas; my husband had the neck of beef, chilli, and honey pizza and I had the sausage, apricot, and walnut pesto pizza. Unfortunately, the menu did not state that my chosen pizza also had chilli in it and as I cannot tolerate the heat of chillies, was unable to eat more than a few mouthfuls before my mouth was burning. My husband's pizza was also spicy but the menu stated this; he loves chilli and loved his pizza! He also ate a few slices of mine so we didn't waste too much.
A must for the menu: please ensure you state clearly if a dish has chilli added, it's so important!
As my mouth was on fire, my husband suggested I pop into the shop and get an ice cream, which I did. I'm familiar with Roskilly's ice cream from our visits to Padstow. I chose 2 scoops in a tub, gooseberry kefir and orange and mascarpone - both delicious and soon calmed down my burning mouth!
After lunch I wanted to see the chickens so wandered over to their free range enclosure. Very happy hens enjoying their dust bathing, 2 cockerels seemingly trying to outdo each other with their crowing, a turkey, and some guinea fowl.
In spite of the chilli [unpleasant] surprise, we loved our visit and would return if we were down that way again.

菜单上必须注明的一点：请务必清楚标明哪些菜肴里添加了辣椒，这一点非常重要！
由于我嘴里辣得要命，丈夫建议我去店里买个冰淇淋，我照做了。我们常去帕德斯托，所以对Roskilly’s的冰淇淋很熟悉。我选了两球装在一个盒子里的冰淇淋。醋栗克菲尔、橙子和马斯卡彭奶酪——全都美味可口，还迅速缓解了我嘴里的灼烧感！
午饭后，我想去看看鸡群，于是漫步到它们的放养区。那些母鸡们开心地在沙地里打滚洗澡；两只公鸡似乎在比拼谁的打鸣声更响亮；此外还有一只火鸡和几只珍珠鸡。
尽管经历了辣椒带来的“意外刺激”，我们还是非常喜欢这次游玩。如果再去那个地方，我们肯定还会再来。
