点评：Thoroughly enjoyed the day with Andy and Karen. Westray has so many places to enjoy and birds to see. Had amazing views of cliffs with nesting kittiwakes, razorbills, fulmars, guillemots, and puffins. But that view of puffins can't compare to those at Castle of Burrian where they were curious enough to come within inches of us.
We had a wonderful coffee with delicious rock buns and a superb lunch which ended with sticky toffee pudding and rhubarb.
The archeological sites are clearly explained do that you can imagine the generations of people living and adding onto their longhouse. What a treat to see the Westray wife in the Heritage Centre.
Andy and Karen's skills and descriptions are so complementary that one has a fulfilling experience of Westray and a fantastic day.
