I skied with Jordan on a heli bump tour in Valdez, Alaska, and the experience was extraordinary. Valdez is massive, complex terrain, and Jordan has a rare ability to move through it in a way that feels fluid and intentional. He opened up terrain and lines that simply wouldn’t be accessible without a guide of his caliber, creating days that were ambitious, high quality, and incredibly memorable.
What stood out most was how dialed everything felt. Jordan is constantly reading the mountain and the group, adjusting objectives and pacing in real time. The result was big vertical, excellent lines, and a consistent sense that we were exactly where we should be at the right moment.
