点评：We would never have done this trip had it not been recommended by two different people. I’m so glad we did.
We took the 4 hour trip through Plaka and up into the mountain villages. Stopping off at interesting places and stunning viewpoints. You really get to see the real Crete.
Delightful lunch at a small rustic village taverna was another highlight. Best Greek salad we have had this trip.
Our guide was absolutely great, humorous, informative and knowledgeable. He made the trip really great fun.
After a few beakers of decent wine in the taverna it really was a ‘happy’ train on the way back.
We met some lovely fellow travellers on the trip who added to the experience.
If you are in Elounda I’d highly recommend their extended trip at €25 for 4 hours. It looks naff but it really isn’t and it was an absolute highlight of our trip.

在酒馆里喝了几杯不错的葡萄酒后，回程的火车之旅真是愉快至极。
