Really Really cool experience. Unique, different, and a must do for star wars fans and movie buffs

点评：I had read about this online as a unique thing to check out in St Maartin. We are Star Wars fans so we knew it was a must visit. It is located on Front street, which is the main shopping street parallel to the beach. It was an easy walk from the port. Just look for the small building that looks like its from tattoine with Star Wars music playing. You can walk up the stairs and read and see some small things. Once upstairs you arrive at the gift shop. You are welcome to just wander around the shop. It is super cool with pieces of the actual scripts and also some artwork and other artifacts. The owner Nick Maley was there in the shop talking to all the guests, answering their questions, signing things that you buy, and just talking about Star Wars and his experience. He is more than willing to take pictures with you if you pay admission and walk through the museum or if you buy something in the shop. We chatted with him about his charity, where he gives back to the people on the island, and what helps keep the museum running. This is what the proceeds from the shop and also the entrance fee to the museum do. Even if you don’t want to pay the entrance fee ($20/person), just come up and take a look around. Any movie buff or Star Wars fan will appreciate the things just in the shop alone. We paid the fee to go through the museum part. It is packed with a lot on the walls. Some cool movie memorabilia from Star Wars as well as a variety of other movies, some models, and a lot more scripts. It was interesting to walk through. You could walk fast through it in about 15-20 minutes. We spent about 25 minutes but you could definitely spend longer reading everything. We thoroughly enjoyed it all so we were happy. For $40, it was one of the coolest “excursions” we did on our trip. If you are a movie buff, a Star Wars nerd, or looking for something unique and different to do on the island, I highly recommend this place. It is really really cool.
