The Highland Soap Company Visitor Centre & Larder Café的点评
点评：The Larder Café is a great place for lunch. It's part of the larger Highland Soap Company complex which comprises a retail area and a small visitor centre.
The dog-friendly café serves breakfast, brunch and lunch. All their food is excellent. The menu updates seasonally and they source organic and sustainable ingredients locally. It does mean you pay a bit of a premium but it's worth it for a treat. There is a massive feature window with views across to Ben Nevis and an outdoor area.
The adjoining shop sells the whole range of Highland Soap Company products... they even have a refill station if you bring your empties back... and other Scottish gifts.
There is a large, recently tarmacked, car park with several disabled spaces next to the entrance.
The complex is fully accessible with loads of space to manoeuvre but can be tricky when it's very busy. There is a slight, easily managed ramp up to the entrance which has automatic doors.
The accessible toilet is a great size and has the standard grab rail set-up. The one issue was the call-bell. The red cord is far too high for a wheelchair user or someone who has fallen to reach and that's not been tied up... that's its actual length!
All the staff are friendly and quick to offer assistance. Be aware that it's counter service but they bring your food and drinks out for you.
