点评：Our visit in late August greeted us with 10 whales mostly adults with calves preparing for their journey south soon. So, well worth the $17 admission (concession), but very touristy with lots of visitors from all over Australia in the carpark. Out-numbered by flies though! The good old Aussie salute was hard at work. No real indoor eating facilities to get away from the flies, but there is an outdoor shelter and toilets. Indoors only a gift shop and a couple of tables to eat ice-creams, etc. There is a sealed, flat, path down to the viewing area and ramps to the most popular viewing spot - so good for those with mobility issues. We also spotted lizards both large and small on the way down, as well as some nice wildflowers (spring time). It is seasonal, so check that its open before driving (the very good sealed road) down from the highway.
