Old Perithia | Corfu's Oldest Village的点评
点评：For a change we agreed to book an organised coach trip to the oldest village on Corfu. The village grew as it became necessary for the islander's to hide from the marauding pirates of the time.
The village is up in the mountains and it took about 30 minutes to get there from Sidari.
About four houses have been renovated and modernised but they look a little out of place amongst the ruins. Another more authentically converted to a bed and breakfast/ hotel and a couple of smaller buildings where they sell thier honey. The rest about six cafés huddled together and from what I experienced just one toilet between all of them and that wasn't easy to access.
To sum up the trip cost 25 euro each. Set off at 11 AM returned 4 PM. Most of the ruins look the same. One building looked particularly dangerous but there were no warning signs.( I will post a picture so you can see what I mean.) We did buy some delicious Oak hunny from one of the shops at a of cost 7 euro and you can sample all the other flavours , well worth a try if you like hunny. However, it's along four hours to fill in before the transport returns, we did drink a few bottles of "Mythos " whilst we waited so not too bad.
