点评:We visited Bwlch Nant yr Arian on a Thursday and had a wonderful experience. The lake walk was absolutely beautiful — peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a dog walk. Our dog loved it, though it’s worth mentioning there was quite a lot of mess on the path (some of it likely not from dogs). It didn’t spoil the overall experience, but it’s something to be aware of.
The 2PM red kite feeding was the highlight — a truly spectacular sight with the sky full of birds swooping over the lake. A must-see if you’re in the area.
Useful info:
Only one parking machine, and it was out of order when we visited, which made parking a bit confusing.
The café, shop, and visitor centre are closed and unstaffed.
There’s no first aid provision on-site, so it’s important to come prepared for whatever activity you’re doing.
Toilets, walking trails, car park, and play areas are all still open.
A brilliant spot if you love nature, walking, or wildlife — and completely free to enjoy.
