点评:This is a really peaceful, well curated museum and garden.
The leaflet in French and English was brilliant and a self-guided tour was very easy.
It was busy for a November day, with dozens of well-behaved kids and their teachers – just 4 or 5 per teacher!
There was a lot of seating throughout, so we could sit and contemplate art we liked. The library of art books was phenomenal; you could flick through every page digitally. The Miró Labyrinth outside with dozens of his works was amazing.
We enjoyed art by, among others, Kandinsky, Braque, Chagall, Matisse and even a piece by Barbara Hepworth.
We didn’t exit through the expensive gift shop but through the café, sat in sunshine with coffees next to a mesmerising funky fountain, where we listened to a 10 year old explaining to one of the teachers how it worked!
