Hiking 7 Cascades with Sanjeev

点评：We absolutely loved our hike with Sanjeev! He was very knowledgeable of the terrain, and we were looking for an authentic hiking experience with a true Mauritian. Sanjeev was light hearted and we really enjoyed his company, he went out his way to make sure we were safe when hiking the terrain especially as it was difficult after the rain - but so worth it! We had some lovely Mauritian food made by Sanjeevs mum (experience like no other, you’d never get this special treatment back in the UK!). Throughout the climb we got to taste pepper, papaya and sugar cane!
If you’re thinking of hiking the 7 cascades, we greatly recommend Sanjeev. Make sure you take some bread to feed the doggos that live on the waterfalls. And don’t forget proper hiking shoes or trainers - my boyfriend mixed up our bag, so we only had our flip flops.. but Sanjeev came to the rescue with extra trainers.
In another life Sanjeev would be a photographer, because the length he went to take pictures and videos of us was pretty crazy haha!
