Palmers Brewery的点评
点评：There was just us two for the tour so it felt very personal. Dave, one of the brewers, gave us thorough run down of how they brew their beer at Palmer’s. He is obviously very proud to work there. We visited on a Thursday and they weren’t brewing that day so we were able to see more of the brewery than if some areas were in use.
Everyone we encountered was friendly and the brewery is very clean and tidy.
We had samples of any or all or the beers and ciders plus their gin & single malt whisky that we requested. We were given a new half pint branded glass each to take away after the tasting.
There is a well stocked shop with lots of wine, their beer & cider and some spirits, plus a good selection of branded gifts. We did treat ourselves to some beer and whisky and a couple of gifts (ceramic tankard and jigsaw puzzle).
Dave recommended a couple of their own pubs in West Bay (just over a mile away) for lunch. We went to The George and had a very nice meal for a reasonable price.
Altogether a lovely day out for the final full day of our holiday in Devon/Dorset.
