Breath taking Colombian horse experience!

点评：Criadero Lusitania is a magical place! It is a little safe haven only almost an hour away from the hussle and bustle of the city life in Bogota. It is not only a world class Colombian Paso Fino breeding farm, but an unforgettable experience for my family and I. From the moment we were picked up by Camilo and Juan David we were greeted with warm smiles and welcoming conversation. As we arrived to the picturesque, beautiful country grounds of their Criadero, we were immediately enchanted with the passion for their majestic horses clearly demonstrated by these young men and the rest of the team.
The facilities were immaculate, showcasing the dedication, commitment, and wellbeing they have for the Colombian Horse. They take great pride in maintaining the heartfelt care of a world-class breeding program.
The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the opportunity to witness the incredible Colombian horse breeds such as The Paso Fino horses, Trocha y Galope horses and Trocha horses in action.
My children had the opportunity to get to know each horse.
The farm arranged a demonstration that showcased the unique gait of all the different Colombian horse breeds which left us in awe as to their smooth elegant movements and the precision and grace of the breeds. We learned a lot about each individual horse.
Apart from the impressive horses, the farm itself was surrounded by the breathtaking Colombian hillside views which allowed us to immerse ourselves into the warm energy of the country Colombian life while enjoying an AMAZING typical Colombian asado/BBQ picnic.
Camilo, Juan David, and team were second to none! We felt like guests in their house as they sincerely treated us like family, and we look forward to visiting them when we return to Bogota, Colombia.
