A gem of a place to visit and stay
Chiltern Valley Winery & Brewery的点评
点评：My wife and I received a present of a tour to the winery and we booked to stay two nights at the B&B using the Pool house adjacent to the main house with a private pool and sauna. It really is a lovely place to stay in a beautiful setting.
The tour of the winery/brewery with Stuart was absolutely superb. So informative and interesting; really educational and included an enjoyable tasting of the wines, beers and liqueurs.
There are beautiful buildings and a superb shop. The converted, restored barn for special events is especially nice.
The food truck in the courtyard served really nice food.
Our Pool house and private area was lovely with a nice view of the vineyard from the house. The new sauna was excellent and a lovely way to spend the evening. There’s a lovely pool too but being April it wasn’t open yet - but it would be superb to use when it’s warmer.
The Pool house itself was lovely and well provided with a fridge and a nice bathroom including a bath. It’s very private and all surrounded by very nice gardens and the vineyard.
The cooked breakfast in the house was very nice.
What really made the visit though were the staff working there. Donald and his team were all so friendly, helpful and informative. They made the stay extra special.
Well worth a visit!
