点评：Presque Isle Park has a little bit of everything for everyone. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, pavilions and gazebos, a marina, a nature center, picnic areas, hiking trails, scenic lookouts, and swimming spots. The main road that circles around the park is Peter White Drive, which is a one-way road that goes in a counterclockwise direction. While driving down the road, be sure to stop at the Black Rocks and Sunset Point on the very north end of the park; these spots are gorgeous!
The park is huge and encompasses over 300 acres. Peter White Drive is probably around a full mile in length.
This is an excellent and convenient alternative for people who are staying in Marquette and do not feel like traveling all the way to Munising, Newberry, or Houghton/Hancock for recreational purposes. You will very easily spend a good one to three hours here, and you do not have to pay any fees to enter.
