The resort does not have a real Spa

点评：We had a very disappointing experience at Spa Tropique at The Sands Grace Bay, and I would not recommend booking here.
The biggest issue is that The Sands does not have a true spa facility. Treatments take place in a single windowless room located downstairs between the gym and business center. During our service, we could hear grunting and gym equipment in use, which completely disrupted any sense of relaxation. The room appears to be opened only when there’s a reservation, it does not feel like a dedicated spa space.
I had pre-booked two 70-minute massages in separate rooms with the “aroma experience” (eucalyptus). However, there is only one room, so we were placed together. The aroma add-on consisted of a few drops of essential oil mixed into lotion at the start; the scent disappeared almost immediately, with no diffuser, candles, or continued aromatherapy presence. The massages themselves were underwhelming. The technique leaned very light and purely relaxing, with no real effort to address tension or knots. Excessive lotion made the therapists’ hands very slippery, further limiting pressure and effectiveness. Additionally, the massage tables were not heated, and with only a thin sheet provided, we were very cold the entire time.
Totally at $500 for the experience after taxes and tip, the value simply was not there. The therapists were friendly and respectful, and booking via email was easy, but the lack of proper spa ambiance, limited facilities, and mediocre massage made this a major letdown. I would not return to this location unless the resort invests in a true spa space.
