Quite busy but still very much enjoyable!
Dovedale的点评
点评：This was our first time visiting Dovedale. We arrived at around 2.30pm. It took a while to enter the car park as many people were on their way out. The car park itself was jam packed but we found a place after 5-10 minutes (parking: £6 for 4hrs or £8 for full day). At the stepping stones, it was quite crowded and long queues had formed on both sides of the river. However, we crossed the river after about 15 minutes and found that despite the many families who were picnicing, we still found empty areas where we felt comfortable to sit down, rest and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. I would advise the following improvements that NT could implement:
1. Ensure that someone from NT is situated by the stepping stones to manage people crossing over
2. Provide more bins for the rubbish that was overflowing by the entrance in the evening
We did not see any BBQs or cooking pots like some reviews have mentioned. It was only by the stepping stones where it felt quite busy due to the crowds. Yet the majority were willing to cooperate peacefully. Apart from that we had no complaints!
