Botanic? Maybe. Garden? Questionable.
St Andrews Botanic Garden的点评
点评：Poor maintenance and management disguised as “rewilding “ or “a more relaxed approach “, as I read in one of mgmt responses to another review. Everywhere except the paths was just overgrown and not maintained, thistles an nettles lining a lot of the paths, all at elbow to shoulder high. Some plants and trees were labelled, and some you couldn’t get close enough to read without wading through the thistles. The children’s play areas all looked good and kids were enjoying themselves. So not all bad.
Staff at reception were pleasant and helpful. We have visited 30+ botanical gardens around the world and this was the only one that we feel did not meet our expectations of a “Botanical Garden “, perhaps you should consider renaming it to something like “A walk on the wild side “ with a great kids play area.
Sorry for this review, I just wish our experience had been better. Won’t be back.
