点评:We visited the pier on the Sunday of the bank holiday weekend. It was such a beautiful day and the view was gorgeous. We thought the entrance price £6.50 was expensive - but on the other hand it’s very important that these wonderful Victorian piers are kept open and maintenance is expensive. The couple on the desk were lovely and so was the lady in the cafe. The museum upstairs was very interesting. We enjoyed our walk along the pier and our chat to members of the angling club we met along the way. We didn’t enjoy our Styles clotted ice cream tub - I’ve had clotted cream ice cream before - and this one just didn’t taste nice. Also I bought an arty postcard of the pier £1.90 and I had trouble removing the price sticker which unfortunately ruined the back of the postcard. I was very pleased to finding a different type of price sticker on other things I bought which came off relatively easily. The tickets are valid for a year and if we lived closer we’d definitely go again.
