点评：I decided to take a spontaneous drive out to Tybee Island one evening — one of those “I just need some ocean air” moments. The timing couldn’t have been better. As the sun started to dip, the sky turned those gorgeous shades of pink, lavender, and gold that seem to melt right into the water.
The beach had that calm, end-of-day hush — a few families packing up, couples walking barefoot near the tide, and a handful of people just sitting quietly, watching the waves roll in. The air was warm with a soft breeze, and the sound of the water felt like an instant reset after a busy day.
I didn’t stay long, maybe an hour, but it was enough to feel grounded again. There’s something about Tybee in the evening — peaceful, unpretentious, and somehow intimate even with strangers nearby.
If you ever need a quick escape or a moment to clear your mind, that short drive and the view at sunset are absolutely worth it.
