点评:My wife and a close family friend attended the production of "Eureka Day" on Sunday, July 12th. It was a beautiful day, the village was charming as always, the staff was pleaseant, as always, the Artistic Director, Jordan Ahnquist was energetic, and was as we expected after having attended a great many productions over the past 30+ years that we have attended. We have always been impressed with every aspect of these many productions. But Eureka Day was a HUGE disappointment! The sets and the actors were wonderful. The basic premise of the play was enticing and could have been really great. The story quickly devolved into a terrible discussion with the town's people about often deadly illnesses, vacines, anti-vaxxers, foul name calling, trash talking, etc. We were quite disgusted with it after about 15 minutes and finally walked out at intermission. What a disappointment!
We will certainly continue to subscribe to future productions at Barnstormers Theater. It's a real gem. But NOT Eureka Day.

不过,我们肯定还会继续订阅Barnstormers剧院今后的演出。这真是一颗瑰宝。但绝对不是《Eureka Day》。
