British Wildlife Centre的点评
点评：We visited the British Wildlife Centre as a family unit with an inquisitive 2 year old. The attraction was easy to find with ample free parking on arrival. Admission can be booked online or at the entrance with available concessions. Maps are available to highlight all the varied animals and their designated locations. Detailed talks are highlighted throughout the Centre with appropriate times, these talks are detailed and informative and display both knowledge and a passion for the animals in their care. The habitats are naturalistic, easily observed but well protected from prying hands.
There is a large playing area for smaller children with ample picnic tables with families who prefer to bring their own food. The cafe gets very busy at lunchtime and you may not find a table immediately, be prepared to wait. The food I found, was mediocre but reasonably priced.
There is a large gift shop with a selection of keep sakes for younger children. I would have liked to support the Centre with a purchase for myself but the options were limited. You can however sponsor an animal of your choice.
Our family experience was very positive and as season tickets are available to purchase a place that can continue to provide a valuable opportunity to see our wildlife for all ages.
