点评：We chose to include Eindhoven in our tour of the Netherlands partly because of this museum. Our phones from North America did a terrible job at helping us to find the entrance though, having us get off the bus and wander through the nature park behind the museum. One thing the park could do to enhance the experience for visitors like us who might have a similar experience would be to have signs at points where there is a path to a fence explaining how to find the entrance (ie: a map showing where you are relative to the entrance). Despite the challenge to find the entrance, we had a lovely visit to the park once we were inside; the host provided us with a map and explanation of the various places we would see in English, which we were grateful for. It is well set up so that you wander through history with plenty of interactive activities along the way. We happened to go on a day with a hail storm so one of our unexpected activities involved testing out the design of the Roman workshop in terms of waterproofness (it passed!). When we arrived there were several school groups with interpreters focused on entertaining them, while we found in the latter part of our visit the staff had time to engage with us more. It was as we were about to leave that someone told us there would be a tour and then an organized tour coming up at specific times; perhaps this information could be on a display board for visitors to know and plan around when they arrive (or even on the website so people can plan visits ahead of time) as we might have made different decisions about when to come or what to do when if we had known. Overall, however, we had a wonderful experience here. I would definitely recommend it to others who are visiting the area - especially if you are here on a nice day.
