A fascinating presentation by David followed by a superb afternoon tea served within the museum.
National Waterways Museum Gloucester的点评
点评：A retired group visited the museum for a tour of the facility that was led by David. He knows his stuff and proved to be an interesting and pleasant guide. Several aspects of the history of the docks at Gloucester Quays and beyond to The River Severn and Sharpness Canal.
The group boarded The Boadicea 3 river boat that is laid up for essential repairs as it is 100 years old. It was involved in the Dunkirk evacuations.
After the tour the staff of the museum had prepared an afternoon tea for the group. A generous selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones aided the tea served to make the afternoon a special occasion for us all.
Our sincere thanks to the museum staff for a most interesting presentation followed by a first class afternoon tea.
