点评：This was an absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish.
We stayed in the Acres Of Glamping Lemur Yurt for my birthday this past weekend, which was so fun and thoroughly enjoyable. The yurt is like a tardis - much bigger inside than it looks on the outside! We really enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit on a night, listening to the lemurs, parrots and wolves as it got dark.
The park itself is bigger than expected, and all the animals looked well looked after. We bottle fed the goats and did the animal meet and greet in which we met rats, skunks, ferrets and chickens. You can also buy food to feed other animals via a tube - we enjoyed meeting the camels the most! Most enclosures have a barrier before the fence to stop people grabbing at the animals and feeding them things they shouldn’t have, this was great to see.
The main shout out goes to Lauren, who went above and beyond for my mam. She’s terrified of rats and didn’t want to do the animal encounter because of them, so Lauren changed the order in which animals were brought out and brought Raisin the rat out first so that once she was away, my mam could sit and enjoy the rest of the talk. She was so kind and went above and beyond to make her comfortable. Thank you Lauren!
This really is a hidden gem and we will return in future, both for glamping and to visit the park. Thank you! 🐾
