点评:I am a friend of the theatre and it pains me to write this. Firstly in context we went to see Operation Mincemeat which was absolutely brilliant. The start was delayed as a cast member went off sick that day and they had to draft someone in from London which made it even more astounding. The theatre was rammed and only 3 members of staff behind the bar on the first floor. It was carnage. No queuing system so people were getting served before others waiting patiently. The 3 staff were great and very efficient but no additional help. Without a proper queuing system then it can descend into chaos.
For visitors new to the theatre, our seats were Circle row c and an excellent view.
The interval had a similar queuing problem and it was quicker to go downstairs into the stalls to get an ice cream from there. The person selling them was very disinterested.
It doesn't take much to lose a very high reputation and they need to be careful.
