点评：Only just discovered the zoo, actually though it was the bird sanctuary under a differnet name! How wrong I was. Both my partner and I have been today for the first time not expecting anything special after looking at the web site. It may be small in size but packs quite a punch, everytime you think you just got to the end another path leads you off to discover more wonderful animals. What I thought would only take us an hour lasted four and a half, including lunch, and we could easily have spent longer there. Staff were very polite and helpful. As I am pushing an adult around in a wheelchair and expected a lot of problems. It is true that in some areas you have to watch were your going, they do warn you of this on the web site but my only negative on this subject is that it is under FAQ and takes some finding perhaps an accessability heading may be benifical. This having been said it did not distract from a very enjoyble afternoon and I now consider this a hidden gem. One that next year we will be looking at returning to often. Wheelchair users may find the going difficult in places but not impossible if thought out carefully before hand. Well worth the entrance money, not too busy when we went on a sunday afternoon and suitable for all ages.
