Miners Castle Rock的点评
点评：Miners Castle is easily one of the most iconic natural landmarks in the entire Upper Peninsula, and quite possibly the entire country. This is a must if you visit Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. You can view this beautiful pinnacle from two different spots: the upper overlook (the distant view) and the lower overlook (the closeup view).
The upper overlook is where you're going to get the best photos, and is the most handicap-friendly. Getting to the lower overlook, however, requires a bit more walking; you have to go down a steep embankment and getting back up again can be somewhat strenuous, but it's still very much worth it if you can handle the extra exercise.
The parking lot is right next to the two viewing spots, so you do not have to walk far at all. They also have restrooms conveniently located next to the parking lot and adjacent to the visitor center (they are actual restrooms, not portable ones).
Additionally, if you're hiking the North Country Trail, it passes right through here.
You absolutely owe it to yourself to spend about 30 to 45 minutes checking out this epic and scenic spot!
