塔兰托别墅植物园的点评
点评：We really enjoyed visiting the Giardini Botanici di Villa Taranto, even though we went outside the main blooming season. The gardens are extensive and beautifully laid out.
Allow around 2–3 hours to explore them comfortably without rushing.
It is a long but worthwhile walk. Although this is not advertised, some of the paths can be a little challenging to navigate. Fortunately, there are picnic areas throughout the gardens where you can rest.
Keep in mind that to see all the plants and flowers at their best, you should visit the gardens multiple times throughout the year.
For transportation, we took the ferry to Pallanza rather than using the dedicated Villa Taranto stop. From Pallanza, Villa Taranto is about a 25-minute walk along a scenic road.
When buying your tickets, keep in mind that the villa itself is not open to the public. Also, check whether you can, and would like to, combine your visit to the gardens with a visit to the Museo del Paesaggio. The museum is nearly 2 km away, approximately a 22-minute walk, and is closed on Tuesdays.
