点评:Al-Rajajil is one of the most mysterious archaeological sites in Saudi Arabia. The field of standing stone columns is dated to roughly 4,000 BCE - that is older than the Pyramids of Giza and older than Stonehenge in England. Almost nothing is known about who built them or why. There are about 50 groups of pillars, some still aligned with what archaeologists believe were astronomical or ritual purposes. No fence, no entry fee, no museum: you just walk among 6,000-year-old stones in total silence.
Real talk: this place is genuinely hard to find. GPS often misroutes, the road signs are minimal, and there is no obvious turnoff from the highway. We tried alone on a first attempt and gave up. We came back with a local Al Jouf operator called ADUMATU (the only proper tour agency based in the region - most other Saudi operators that bring tourists to Al Jouf actually book through them). The guide was from Sakaka and took us at golden hour. Worth every minute.
Bring water and sturdy shoes. Sunrise or sunset are the best times - the alignment of the stones makes much more sense visually when the light hits at a low angle. Pair with Sisra Well and Za'abal Castle for a Sakaka day.

说实话,这个地方真的很难找。GPS经常出错,路标很少,而且高速公路上也没有明显的岔路。我们第一次尝试独自前往,结果放弃了。后来我们找了一家当地的焦夫旅行社ADUMATU(这是该地区唯一一家正规的旅行社——大多数其他带游客去焦夫的沙特旅行社实际上都是通过他们预订的)。
