Lava River Cave的点评
点评：We went to the Lava River Cave today and it was really cool. You have to buy a vehicle ticket and tickets go on sale daily at 7:00 am for the next week. They sell 50 percent of the tickets a week prior to the day you want to go and sell the other 50
Percent the day before. The tickets are only $2.00.
The cave is approx 42 degrees year round and you definitely need a flash light! If you don’t have one you can rent one for $7.00.
We did a self guided tour and it took us about an hour and 10 minutes to walk the 1.1 mile in and then the 1.1 mile out.
I suggest you go as early as you can. We only had two other people ahead of us on the way in so it was really quiet, but on the way out several groups were coming in so not as dark and quiet.
Also, the gates don’t open until 9:00 am. We were third in line to enter and we got there about 8:50 am.
Lastly, if you don’t have a national park pass you have to pay $5.00 for parking.
We were really happy we went!
