A Whale of a Good Time

点评：My sister and I signed up for the 6 person boat and were both nervous about riding in such a small craft. She was worried that she would get sea sick. I was worried that a whale would knock us over. I booked the larger boat with Carrie and Koda for later in case my sister decided not to get on the morning boat. I was really hoping that the waitlist for Carrie’s boat would open up so my sister could go on the larger boat, but it didn’t. The tour was moved to a later time due to weather. We received a text message, but it was a little confusing, a few of us arrived at the original time. They let us in the museum at 9 so we could walk around. My sister and I walked to the boat and saw that it was way less intimidating than we originally thought. The captain and staff were great and the video before hand was very informative. The boat was not as bad as we had envisioned. It was pretty bouncy, but we wore sea bands and didn’t have an issue. We saw a whale, sea lions and some harbor seals. Carrie’s boat passed us, but no Koda. I thought Koda went on all of the Carrie and Koda trips. Apparently he was getting groomed. I would have been really disappointed if I had picked the Koda trip over going on the boat with my sister and there was no Koda. Over all a very enjoyable trip.
