点评:The tor dominates the landscape and can be seen from miles away. Conversely, the 360 degree views over the surrounding countryside are excellent if you get to the top.
Its a very steep climb. We came up the back way which isn't signed the best but we made it. Last time we climbed the tor - 12 years ago - we didn't see any signs and climbed up the tor without sighting a footpath. Extremely hazardous and we laugh about it now. It was tad terrifying back then.
Anyway, we found a footpath this time. Still very steep, though.
There were a number of people silently chanting and 'dancing' when we were there. It's supposed to be a very spiritual place but that bypassed me.
There is a metal guide up there showing points of interest around the place but a group of people were sat on it making it very difficult to read. Yes, there are rude people even up on the tor.
Worth a visit if you're in Glastonbury but be prepared to be puffed.
