I can't recommend Roy Safaris enough for a completely unforgettable safari experience!

点评：Roy Safaris were absolutely incredible in planning and taking us on our first ever safari! We did a short two day safari in Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Roy Safaris skilfully made the most out of this short time but carefully and considerately worked around my accessibility needs, adapting plans if needed and took care in ensuring we had the most suitable and comfortable lodging to accommodate us.
The night before setting off we met Gerard who gave us a briefing on our safari which made us even more excited (if possible) on what was to come! He told us what we needed and what to expect.
The safari vehicles were spacious and comfortable and had a great open roof that made for excellent viewing!
We had the privilege of getting Salvatory as our safari guide. He was and is the best of the best! Salvatory is very experienced and knowledgeable and could answer almost all of my many, many questions no matter how obscure or basic! He matched our enthusiasm and amazement in seeing these incredible animals in the real for the first time!
I have mobility problems and therefore struggle with walking and getting around. Salvatory did not make this an issue at all and even appointed himself as my personal "security guard"! He was attentive and patient and took the safari at our pace and was happy to make stops if required. He indulged our group's desire to get the perfect and most memorable photos and videos and sought out the best spots and opportunities! It was as if Salvatory had built in binoculars for eyes or a sixth sense for seeking out animals! He just knew! He was also in constant communication with other drivers or tuning into the radio to locate the game.
There was one special moment in particular at the crater when we were following sightings of a couple of lions and then far, far away in the distance Salvatory spotted a rhino. He suggested waiting back rather than zooming off to potentially spot the lions. What a good call and intuition!...The rhino which was the endangered white rhino (!!) came within a few metres of our vehicle! He crossed right in front of us and continued to graze. For a while it was just us and the rhino as we watched in complete awe! That was a moment I'll never forget!
Salvatory's love for what he does is undeniable and infectious. His care, consideration, experience, knowledge and sunny personality is what made him more than we could ever hope for in a guide! I would highly recommend Roy Safaris and Salvatory to anyone thinking of coming on a safari!
We definitely will be back as 2 days is nowhere near enough for this incredible country and have no hesitation in choosing Roy Safaris! - Asante Sana and see you soon!
