点评：During our cruise stop in Marseille I chose this option for transportation to Notre-Dame de la Garde. One option was taxi or Uber, but when I checked Uber on my phone app, it was giving me a price of 38 euros for just one way. Le Petit Train was only 11 euros per person for a complete round trip. The online information does not give any route description, so you cannot expect what you are going to see either going to or returning from the beautiful church. One disappointment is that I was unable to capture any meaningful photographs while the tram was moving. In my opinion, besides the church you don’t see much of Marseille, but for the price paid, this was still a reasonable transport solution. One aspect I wasn’t expecting, since neither the website nor the brochure offers any route map, is that it does take you along the Corniche Kennedy seacoast, so that was a pleasant surprise. Another option had been the local hop-on-hop-off bus, but when I read the reviews and found its nearest stop from Notre Dame was at the bottom of a steep hill, I decided that option was undesirable. The train did end up letting us off near the cruise terminal and not at 174 Quai du Port, but there is nothing in their online information that mentions this.
