点评:I just completed a 2 week class at Interculutura in Heredia. The staff on site was outstanding. I did stay with a host. I was lucky I think in who they placed me with. Some other students did not have a great experience. Fine, but not great. The negatives for me were: I was a true beginner. No other beginners were at the school for my first week. After I arrived the school said that I would only get 2 hours of instruction because I was getting a “private” class. I was told this on my first day. Not having requested a private, I was very disappointed. The 2nd week they placed another student with me that with was far more advanced than me. I didn’t think it fair to either of us. One of the reasons I chose Intercultura was the afternoon and weekend activities. The first week there wasn’t enough students to sign up so no activities. Thankfully I am a pretty experienced traveler so I made my own way to Monteverde for the weekend. My impression is that hosts think you’ll be gone on the weekends. Actually one of the students was told by their host he must leave on the weekends. To do it all over again, I would choose the Samara location. I think that location attracts more students. That might have eliminated some of my problems.
