点评：If you are planning to come to this attraction, it is best to plan to come in the evening, around 2000hrs. The easiest and cheapest way to get to this location is to take the subway to Grand Tang Mall station on Line 8. Exit via Exit D and make your way towards the attraction along YanTa NanLu. The attraction is located quite a distance away, approximately 300 metres up the road. When you get to a T-junction and you see a sprawling network of brightly lit up ancient architecture, you have arrived.
The Grand Tang All-Day Mall is a massive pedestrian-only street that is nearly 2 kilometres long. If you visit during the day, the place looks ordinary, like any other shopping precinct you will find elsewhere in the city. But if you come after 1900hrs, the place comes alive. The buildings will be brightly illuminated with floodlights, there will be street performances at every corner, lots of food kiosks selling delicious local delicacies that will cause your wallet or bank account to lose weight very quickly.
While it is good to watch the cultural performances and soak in the lively atmosphere, do take note that this is a tourist attraction. Anything sold here will be at exorbitant prices. My advice is to just window-shop, even if you see something that you really like, I am sure you can get it elsewhere at a fraction of the price. Personally, I reserved my cash only for things that will go into my stomach.
Some of the very delicious snacks you ought to try here are the Stuffed Buns, the stuffing is either minced beef, pork or mutton. Another mouth watering snack is the Soybean Pudding, you can have this sweetened or unsweetened. Both are equally savoury.
