Excellent Kayaking Experience with Great Staff!!!

点评：This was the final excursion on our Celebrity 7 day Alaska inside passage cruise and it didn’t disappoint! We did the Tatoosh Islands Wilderness Kayak Adventure with them and had a great time. We were picked up right at the dock by motor coach and it was a 30 minute drive to their site, they have jackets to wear in the Zodiac and mandatory life vests and that trip to the Island took about 15 minutes. There we got our Kayak life vests, they had skirts if u wanted them to avoid getting wet. I took one and my wife didn’t. In the end I didn’t really need it but glad I had it. They use 2 person kayaks which are really stable and they even have a rudder. A quick safety briefing and we launched right from the beach. All the staff were friendly and helpful (Sara and Shay and Jackson was our Zodiac skipper). Sara and Shay and one other staff member accompanied our group for the kayaking which was nice since they took turns telling about different aspects of where we were. When we saw an Eagle and heard her baby talking too! They all had a ton of knowledge about the Island, trees, and Eagles and starfishand sea lions. we saw. We came back to the island and they had water and hot chocolate but the Ravens ate their cookies!! We took our kayak stuff off and this is where they were really cool. We saw hump back whales in the distance bubble feeding and when Jackson came back with the Zodiac we zipped out there and he hung out for a bit to let us see probably 4 hump back whales feeding before their flukes came up and they went deep then we headed back to their main headquarter’s where we started the day and as we got back to their place where we started and there was 2 huge sea lions cruising right by the dock! Awesome day!!! The coach then took us back to the dock right by the ship. Highly recommend!!!
