点评：We traveled the entire length of the Mississippi from the Itasca headwaters to the Gulf. We found this visitor center to be our least favorite along the way. The staff was unfriendly and the displays limited. The view of the Mississippi from the back of the building was really the only thing worth the stop. They were selling "Great River Road Maps" for $2.00 and I had been offered or saw them for free at multiple places on our trip. I had expected the center to be of some benifit to us as we traveled the Great River Road but it didn't add anything. If this was the only Mississippi River or Road Visitor center that was on your trips agenda it may be worth a stop but otherwise spend your time at other centers such as the National Great Rivers Museum in Alton.
