Norfolk Lavender的点评
点评：Norfolk Lavender is on the surface, quite delightful. It has fields of gorgeous looking lavender that you can stride through, taking in the actually stunning sights.
There is a (terribly expensive) farm shop, a decent farm shop that sells lavender everything, a cafe that we didn't use, and - of all things - a pizzeria which... well, it's an artisan pizzeria. You're not getting a margarita or Pepperoni there but quite exotic choices instead. Now I must admit, I loved the Pizza I had but it was oddly empty of customers around the hut. I think whilst pitching artisan flavours is a bold move, I'm not sure the clientele of a lavender pitch are looking for that sort of thing. But I did like the flavours and hope they get more people trying it.
Kids can be entertained by what appeared to be a bouncy trampoline thing near the pizzeria but being an adult, I can't say I tried it.
There were some walking gardens (without lavender) behind the premises and they were quite wonderful but some bits seemed quite rough around the edges.
Finally, they do have a lavender plant shop. We spent a while picking ours out and, despite our best efforts to look after it, it's quite poorly. Better luck next time.
I can say I enjoyed it as did my partner but somehow it felt less than the sum of it's parts. You should definitely do it but keep expectation realistic for what is essentially, a lot of lavender!
