Breaks Interstate Park的点评
点评：My Wife and I Spent Fri. thru Sun. in one of the Woodland Cottages. The kitchen accommodations of the cottage was at a bare minimum but sufficient. Bedding and bath provisions were sufficient. The rustic/vintage aspect of the cottage overall makes you feel like your in the 70's, which creates a unique experience in it's self. Overall, the cottage could use a little "freshening up" inside and outside as long as the vintage appeal is not compromised. The Park, in itself, is a hidden gem and one that needs to be shared. Having been here 15+ years ago, they have added a few new features to keep the guest activity intrigued and involved. One, which we did experience, was the Canyon Zip-Line. This is a must for all who are not weary of heights as it allows you a "Birds-Eye" view of the Tower area of the Canyon. The Staff was professional, well trained and thorough, yet entertaining. Secondary roads could use some much needed work and due to recent weather this has only added to this problem. The in park Restaurant, to say the least, seems to be the talk of the town, as residents of the surrounding communities visit often to dine. This was made overly evident by many whom seemed to know each other. With respect to the restaurant, the assistant manager Tanya, was truly a delight, her professionalism along with her genuine character made it a comfortable home-town experience. Having ate lunch, supper and breakfast, we were not disappointed with any of our choices. All the staff we encountered were very personable and assistive in our experience. It would be nice to see the check-in time moved up a couple hours to help with travel times/unpacking and settling in as to allow for late afternoon activities/park experiences. Overall, we Highly recommend a visit to the "Grand Canyon of the South" and encourage all to pass the word.
