点评：We usually love visiting national trust properties and try to go to one each month. However, this is the first one we've come away disappointed.
The house had no information. The staff told us nothing, completely ignored us in each room. The only information was available through books that were too dense to stand and read though, the rooms really needed little info stands that were more accessible .
The upstairs fashion exhibition was fascinating.
Also went for the blossom mile that was marketed, but all of the blossom was over. There were multiple signs pointing to trees with zero blossom on.
After walking to the chapel, we followed the path back that took us to the main road, so we had to follow that back to the car park... We drove from Plymouth for this experience and came away feeling very flat about it.
