A different type of fishing trip!

点评：This was an unexpected highlight of our trip to Tetons and Yellowstone. We found this online and planned this as a way to break up our drive from Salt Lake City. Michael managed to fit us into the schedule, and then modified that visit when we were unexpectedly delayed getting to the site.
JJ was our guide at the dig, and we had a great time digging through the layers and looking for fossils. After a couple hours collecting various samples, we went back to the shop area where he cut the fossils down to size. We then packed up the fossils to take home (with some extra attention from security at the TSA line!).
While we did not find any large fish, we found a large number of smaller fish and had a great time! Michael could not have been more accommodating with the scheduling, and JJ was a wonderful guide from start to finish. If you are any where near Kemmerer it is well worth a stop at Ulrich's to do your own fossil dig!
