点评:No Dog's allowed
Unfortunately I was enjoying a lovely peaceful walk at the wood's on the edge of the reserve when I was was informed that dog's weren't allowed in the wood's and only on the cycle track.
Iam a local and have walked that area loads of times but hadn't visited for a few year's.
I find it offensive that people from the area cannot use the area anymore with a dog iam single and suffering from mental health issues hence my time spent in amongst nature and the wildlife.
I understand the need to protect the area but to make it unaccessible to certain group's on the grounds of banning dog's when locals have used the area for there wellbeing for decades you're not even allowed to walk in the wood's and sit down for a while.
I strongly believe that people are offended by the presence of a dog why can't responsible people be allowed with a well behaved dog on a lead.
Furthermore many areas of the area don't have signs letting you know no Dog's allowed I was informed they had been vandalised is there any wonder when locals are banned from their own backyards.
I feel the situation needs revisiting allowing dogs on a lead I don't agree with making it a area for the few.
