点评：Every year we look forward to the Peninsula Players theater season beginning. It is our favorite thing to do in Door County. We haven’t missed one of their performances going back at least 25 years. Attending these is a magical experience. It’s much more than the great production and acting that every show in this, the oldest summerstock theater in the nation, demonstrates. It’s also the atmosphere of the entire setting. The beautiful theater itself, the grounds are amazing, gorgeous flowers, and the beach and water front scene, with islands in the distance, are unsurpassed. We always try to get there early and enjoy the ambience before the show. Often times we bring a picnic lunch. The Luna bar is very convenient and has a great selection of beverages. Strolling around the grounds and up and down the shore is a tremendous amount of fun. We even look forward to intermission because typically there’s a roaring fire going on and the sun might be setting or has just set and it’s a beautiful scene. Dennis & Susan Garrity
