Favorite place in all of Japan! Amazing to see

点评：If you love and care about monkeys, this is the best place to visit!! These are wild Japanese macaques who come down from the mountain and visit the monkey center (on their own volition) for food, shade, water, and social time. They are incredibly cute, and they are not in a cage or anything. You (the humans!) can go behind a fence to feed the monkeys, but they are free to roam, and they come and go as they please. You can get close to the monkeys and observe them, but please be respectful and do not touch them. These monkeys will not harass you if you treat them with respect - they are very friendly, sweet, and curious. It is SO cool to see them go about their little lives, grooming each other and playing! The staff at the monkey center are also incredibly kind and knowledgeable, they know all of the monkeys and treat them like family.

This is my favorite place in all of Japan. I came from abroad and spent hours there, and I am looking forward to visiting again soon!
