The Captivating Charm of Jeonju Hanok Village
全州韩屋村的点评
点评：I recently took a two-day, one-night trip to Jeonju Hanok Village, and it was an unforgettable experience.
On the first day, there was a gentle drizzle. The rain brought out a subtle, earthy blend of wet wood and soil, which only enhanced the traditional and tranquil charm of the Hanok (traditional Korean houses). The usually bustling streets were quiet, allowing for a remarkably peaceful and relaxing stroll.
The second day was beautifully sunny, offering a completely different kind of magic. Beneath the clear, bright sky, I could appreciate the intricate architectural details of the village much more clearly. Unlike the previous day, the streets were lively and bustling with visitors dressed in beautiful Hanbok (traditional Korean attire). Seeing everyone wandering around in such stunning garments honestly made it feel as though I had travelled back in time.
Even as a native Korean, this was my very first visit to a Hanok village, and I fell absolutely in love with it. I highly recommend staying overnight so you can fully experience its shifting moods and timeless beauty!
