点评:We visited Marion Sansom Park for a hike to see the waterfall while in the area. The waterfall trail starts from the kiosk at the parking area and descends steeply. There are a bunch of intersecting trails, some official mountain bike trails and other social trails, so can be a little confusing but just keep making your way down. The trail ends at a wide dirt road. Going right leads up to the dam, there is a small cascade here, but it is not the waterfall. Instead, go left and look for a path that leads out to a bluff on the river with a nice view of the waterfall. It's about 10 feet high. For a closer view, where the trail ends at the dirt road, there is a small tributary to cross, which may be difficult in high water. Once across, the obvious paths lead right to the base of the waterfall and you can climb up to the top. Be very careful if you go to the top of the waterfall. In addition to the waterfall, we also saw a ton of beautiful wildflowers near the trailhead. Overall, a nice park and worth a short but steep hike to see the waterfall.
