点评：Booked a one night stay for a birthday celebration.
The tour was interesting and the guide was brilliant at his job. Understandable it’s hard to tour round the field in the winter but weather was dry but we still stayed inside throughout. Wine tasters were generous.
Evening meal was ok, but pricey for small portion size and expensive drinks. Service was friendly but staff seemed to just want to go home. Wanted their white wine but was out of stock even though we had it earlier in the day on the tour.
Accommodation is very dated, definitely needs sprucing up. Clean and tidy but decor is stuck in 2014. Better parking needed outside the rooms. Needs to be a better route between the rooms and the restaurant - steep path needs lighting and the rubble is dangerous. Particularly walking down there at nighttime.
It snowed overnight whilst we were there. Paths and car park weren’t cleared, no grit put down and railing down the small path into restaurant was broken and wobbly which made it very hazardous.
